This Privacy Policy ("Policy") outlines the policies and procedures governing the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of your information when you use Kurryzo's website located at https://kurryzo.com/, its mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Kurryzo Platform"), provided by YANTROS INDIA PRIVATE LTD. BRAND NAME KURRYZO, a private company established under the laws of India, having its registered office at  3rd Floor, Ramaniyam Citadel (Commercial Wing), # 931/478 Poonamallee High Road, Arumbakkam Chennai-600 106. ("Kurryzo," "Company," "we," "us," or "our"). The terms "you" and “your" refer to users of the Kurryzo Platform, and the term "Services" encompasses all services offered by Kurryzo, whether on the Kurryzo Platform or otherwise.

Please read this Policy cautiously before using the Kurryzo Platform or submitting any personal information to Kurryzo. This Policy is an integral part of our Terms of Use and should be read in conjunction with it.

We won't be held accountable for the information gathering practices, functionality, or content of these external websites.

a)  "User" or "Users" Refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Kurryzo Platform, either by visiting the platform, creating an account, or availing any services provided by Kurryzo.

b)   "Personal Information" or "Information": Refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person ('data subject'); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly.

c)  "Kurryzo Platform": Refers collectively to the website, mobile application, and related services provided by Kurryzo.

e)   "Service Providers": Refers to third parties which perform services on behalf of Kurryzo, including but not limited to, vendors, consultants, marketing partners, research firms, and other providers.

f)  "Partner Restaurants/Merchants": Refers to the respective restaurants or merchants that are associated with Kurryzo for facilitating the online food order process. 

g) "Advertisers and Advertising Networks": Refers to third parties that display advertisements on the Kurryzo Platform. 

h) "Group": Refers to entities that are controlled by, control, or are under common control with Kurryzo, as defined by applicable laws.

i)    "Policy": Refers to this Privacy Policy governing the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of information on the Kurryzo Platform.

j)   "Device Information" Refers to information about the device used by users to access the Kurryzo Platform, including hardware models, operating systems, software versions, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, mobile network information, and more.2.

By using the Kurryzo Platform and our Services, you consent to the collection, transfer, use, storage, disclosure, and sharing of your information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not use or access the Kurryzo Platform.

a)  Device Information: To enhance your experience and improve our Services, we may collect information about the devices you use to access the Kurryzo Platform. This may include details such as hardware models, operating systems, software versions, unique device identifiers, advertising identifiers, mobile network information, and more. Such information may be collected directly by us or third-party plugins used for these purposes;

b) Identification information such as user name, date of birth, gender, profile picture, qualification, location;

c)  Social media plugin details like – Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, Apple ID or any other– for the purpose of identification

d) Contact information such as email address, mobile number;

e) Payment information (this is securely collected and processed by our payment service provider exclusively);

f) Additional information relevant to your use of our Platforms and Services, such as one-time password sent for registration, your marketing preferences, place of employment and designation, survey responses and feedback;

g) Cookies: Kurryzo and our partners may use technologies like cookies, pixel tags, web beacons, mobile device IDs, and similar files or technologies to gather and store information related to your use of the Services and third-party websites. 4.Information we collect automatically

We collect information using cookies and other similar technologies to help distinguish you from other users of our Platforms, and streamline your online. When you visit our Platforms, we may collect the following information

  • A device identifier (cookie or IP address or Device ID or Android Advertiser ID / iDFA ID), or any other identifier;
  • Details of the hardware and software that you are using to access the Platforms such as your computer/device name, your operating system, browser type and version, application version, operator name, screen size, CPU speed, and connection speed;
  • Any passwords that you use on our Platforms or any other authentication token used to login;
  • URL and time stamps;

c) We also receive information from you when you interact with our pages, Apps, groups, accounts, or posts on social media platforms.

d) This list is not exhaustive, and, in specific instances, we may need to collect additional data for the purposes set out in this policy.

6.Uses of Your Information

We collect and use your information for various purposes, including but not limited to: 

a) Providing, personalizing, maintaining, and improving our products and services, including enabling deliveries and personalizing your Kurryzo account;

b) Fulfilling our contractual obligations and providing you with relevant information and services;

c)  Enhancing the security and internal operations of the Kurryzo Platform, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, and statistical analysis;

d) Sending you information about services similar to those you are using, have inquired about, or may interest you, especially if you are a registered user;

e) Understanding user behavior, improving our Services, processing transactions, making special offers, providing customer support, and responding to your queries;

f)  Generating and reviewing reports and data, conducting research on our user base and Service usage patterns;

g)  Enabling you to participate in interactive features of our Services;

h) Measuring the effectiveness of advertising we serve and delivering relevant advertising;

i)  Tracking the progress of deliveries or the status of orders placed by customers if you are a partner restaurant, merchant, or delivery partner;

j)  Combining information received from third parties with the information you provide to us and the information we collect about you for the purposes outlined above;

k) Analyzing log files, which may include IP addresses, browser type and language, Internet service provider (ISP), app crashes, page views, and exit websites and applications, among other data, to administer the website, understand user behavior, improve our products and services, and gather demographic information about our user base.

7.Disclosure and Distribution of Your Information

We may share your information with various parties and entities for the following purposes:

a) Service Providers: We may share your information with vendors, consultants, marketing partners, research firms, and other service providers to support our business operations. This may include sending emails, analyzing and enhancing our Services, processing payments, conducting surveys, or organizing sweepstakes.

b)  Partner Restaurants/Merchants: When you place a food order through Kurryzo Platform, we may share your information with the respective restaurant or merchant, facilitating the online food order process. If you provide a mobile phone number, we may send you text messages regarding the order's delivery status.

c) Other Users: If you are a delivery partner, we may share your name, phone number, and/or profile picture (if applicable), as well as tracking details, with other users to provide the Services.

d)  Crime/Misuse Prevention or Investigation: We may share your information with governmental agencies or other companies when required by applicable laws, court orders, or to detect and prevent identity theft, fraud, abuse of Services, and other illegal activities. This may also include responding to claims related to intellectual property rights or disputes.

e) Internal Use: We may share your information with current or future members of our "Group" or affiliates for internal business purposes. "Group" refers to entities that are controlled by or control us, or entities under common control, as defined by applicable laws.

f)  Advertisers and Advertising Networks: We may work with third parties, including network advertisers, to serve advertisements on the Kurryzo Platform and third-party websites or media. These third parties may use cookies and tracking technologies to measure the effectiveness of ads personalize advertising content.

8.Data Security Precautions 

a)  We have implemented appropriate technical and security measures to safeguard the information collected by us. To protect sensitive personal information, we use third-party vault and tokenization services, which are compliant with the payment card industry standard (PCI compliant service providers). 

b)  While we take steps to secure your data, please be aware that data transmission over the internet is not entirely secure. Although we employ strict physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to prevent unauthorized access, we cannot guarantee the security of data transmitted through the Kurryzo Platform.

9.Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary but not more than ten years  to fulfill the purposes for which  we collected it, or unless otherwise required by law.

10. Opt-Out

a)  When you create an account, you are opting in to receive emails from Kurryzo. You can manage your email preferences by logging into your account or by following the "unsubscribe" instructions in commercial email messages. However, please note that you cannot opt out of receiving certain administrative, service, or legal notices from Kurryzo.

b) If you wish to withdraw your consent for the use and disclosure of your personal information as described in this Policy or request the deletion of your data, please contact us at [Insert Contact Email]. We will process your request, and your data will no longer be used for processing unless required by legal obligations. Note that we may be unable to provide certain Services upon withdrawal of your consent.

11.Privacy of Children 

a) To be able to use and access our Services, you must have attained the age of majority as required by law. If you are a minor in your jurisdiction, you must register with us and use our Services under the supervision of an adult. Please do not allow kids under your care to submit Personal Information to us as a parent or legal guardian. If you give a minor's Personal Information to us, you hereby consent to the processing of the minor's Personal Information, accept and agree to be governed by this Privacy Policy, and assume responsibility for his or her activities.

b)  However, if the Company is alerted that personal data of people under the age of majority has been compromised, we shall take all necessary steps to delete such information from our servers. As a parent or legal guardian, you are encouraged to reach out to the Grievance Officer, for redressal of any complaints in relation to collection of children data.

We will make reasonable efforts to provide notice of significant changes, such as through prominent notices on the Kurryzo Platform or by sending notifications to your registered email address. Where required by applicable law, we will seek your consent for material changes. Your continued use of our Services after the publication of changes to this Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy.

       When you send an email or other communication to us, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our Services.

 Note:   Please do not share any feedback message with an unauthorised person of the Company; otherwise, the Company will not be liable for the settlement of your problem.   1. Your identity information (name, Times identity ID, if applicable);
  2. Specifics about your concern(s);
  3. Clearly explain whether the information is personal or sensitive personal information.
  4. Your name, address, phone number, and e-mail address;
  5. A declaration stating that you have a good-faith perception that the information was processed erroneously or improperly disseminated; as the case maybe
  6. A declaration under penalty of perjury that the information in the notification is correct, and that the information for which complaint is lodged belongs to you;
